ABOUT DADHAI

DADHAI springs up from the fantastic magic of a child who discovers the emotion of Santa Claus for the first time. A dreamy fil rouge that will accompany him throughout his all life, whenever he wants to rediscover the taste of the first and authentic emotions!
DADHAI, the new entrepreneurial project by Roberta Camerino and Tessa Zanga Camerino, was born with the first collection of FW2018 bags. For the fashion designers of the brand, the maison Roberta di Camerino has marked a path that turned into work, affections, relationships and giving the zest for fashion, art and the wonderful and vital contamination between these two worlds.
Il brand DADHAI brand embodies a real philosophy of life and aims to respond to the wishes of a dynamic woman, constantly evolving, almost "futuristic" who seeks a quality and a taste that are the result of a heritage of values, recognized worldwide. The DADHAI bags are designed in Venice and rigorously all made in Italy.

Roberta Camerino is an Italian entrepreneur and fashion designer.
DADHAI debuted at FW2018, as the new entrepreneurial adventure of Roberta Camerino. An exclusive collection of bags design and created by Roberta Camerino and Tessa Zanga Camerino.
Author of articles and interventions on the themes of fashion, in 2016 Roberta published her first book with Marcianum Press, “Schegge di R”, a series of fragments on the strong and sometimes conflicting relationship between mother and daughter.
Born in Venice in 1946 by Giuliana Coen Camerino and Guido Camerino, she grew her passion for colors and the world of fashion at a very young age in the Roberta Di Camerino maison, founded by her mother in 1947.
Her studies and training in the artistic field fed her passion for art and innate creative spirit. Immediately after graduation, she started working in the fashion house, where she personally followed the commercial development of the label, transforming it into a brand recognized internationally thanks to the position of attorney general she held from 1970.
Roberta never abandoned her own creative vein and from 1981 she began to dedicate herself, to the creation of the clothing lines, as well as baby accessories, games and furniture. From 1985 she also worked on the stylistic development of all the other collections of the brand: bags, clothes, jewelry, etc.
The fashion house was sold in 2007 and Roberta continued her activity as a stylistic consultant until 2010.
Since 2011 she has been the artistic director of the historic Venetian location "Palazzo Loredan Griffoni", formerly home to her grandfather's color factory and showroom of the Roberta di Camerino maison. Fashion is in her DNA and remains one of her greatest passions. Currently, in addition to continuing her work as a stylist for other brands and being a successful entrepreneur, Roberta is actively involved in the life of her hometown, Venice, and, thanks to her involvement in various associations and foundations, over the years she devoted herself to numerous volunteering activities.
